Never enough heroes?

Heroes is about heroes. When you put heroes in your maps, you have fun. When you put too many heroes in your maps, some fun things happen, like this

When one of my heroes was defeated, they didn’t leave the map and they changed to an enemy color, with a new starting army. When that color was defeated, the hero changed to the gray color. When I defeated the hero in combat, the hero was still there, with another starting army

While each player can only have 8 heroes, the map editor (including the original one!) would not stop you from adding more than that. It’s still possible to fool the editor, but now it will give you a nice friendly warning when you try.
